Fundraising for MND Scotland at Dundee Kiltwalk

Each year our staff choose a charity to support with various fundraising activities throughout the year.

This year, we are very pleased to be supporting MND Scotland.

Motor Neurone Disease is a fatal, rapidly progressing neurological condition affecting up to 5,000 adults in the UK at any one time. The condition attacks the nerves, leaving those affected unable to walk, talk, eat and ultimately to breathe. It usually progresses rapidly and there is currently no effective treatment or cure. One third of people with MND lose their life within a year and over half within two years of diagnosis.

MND Scotland is the only charity in Scotland dedicated to directly supporting people with motor neuron disease (MND), their families and friends. They support hundreds of people living with MND across Scotland by providing practical, financial, and emotional support, whilst also funding essential research into finding effective treatments and a cure.

To kick off our fundraising for MND Scotland we are taking part in the Dundee Kiltwalk on the 17th August. This is our biggest charity fundraiser of the year, and we are looking to get off to a fantastic start.

If you can support us this will be greatly appreciated. You will find a link to our charity fundraising page here:  https://www.justgiving.com/team/twmandtim

MND is a descent into the unknown, but with every donation, no matter how small, no one in Scotland will face the unknown alone.
